About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, strategic Design Lead to shape the visual identity of our brand and ensure a seamless, engaging experience across all design touchpoints. This role is ideal for a multidisciplinary designer with a strong background in B2B SaaS—bonus points if you’ve worked in the HR tech space.
The designer in this role should have a breadth of experience creating all types of marketing creative, including but not limited to social media assets, campaign visuals, advertising creative including print and digital, email design, and much more. This role also requires experience with UI / UX design, and assisting a product team.
Whether you're refining our website, designing intuitive product interfaces, or crafting compelling visuals for campaigns and events, you’ll own every creative aspect that directly impacts how our brand connects with customers.
This role requires both big-picture thinking and hands-on execution—someone who can translate business goals into strategic, high-impact design solutions while also diving into the details of day-to-day creative work.
What You'll Do
Marketing & Brand Design
Own and evolve Cloverleaf's visual identity, ensuring a consistent, engaging brand presence across all channels.
Create marketing collateral, including one-pagers, slide deck templates, email graphics, advertisements (print & digital), and conference materials.
Design social media graphics and visuals for content marketing, ensuring a consistent, engaging brand presence across platforms.
Support campaign development and bring stories to life with strong visual storytelling that drives engagement and conversion.
Conceptualize, edit, and produce high-impact video content for social media and marketing campaigns.
Develop motion graphics, animations, and other dynamic content to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
Product & Digital Experience
Design and maintain our website (WordPress) to ensure it’s visually compelling, easy to navigate, and conversion-optimized.
Contribute to UI/UX design efforts to enhance product experiences that are as intuitive and user-friendly as they are beautiful.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and marketers to align brand and product experiences.
What you bring

Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years of design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS (experience in HR tech is a plus). Degree should be in Graphic Design, VIsual Communication, User Experience Design, Multimedia Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, or related field of study.
In lieu of a degree + experience, 7+ years of experience is required.

Strong portfolio showcasing branding, marketing collateral, UI/UX design, and video/multimedia work.
You will be asked to share examples of your work as part of the interview process.
Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects), and WordPress.
A strategic mindset, balancing creativity with business objectives and user needs.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product, and development teams.
Strong project management skills—able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced startup environment.

Cloverleaf believes in fair and equitable pay. Our salary bands are built using nationally recognized benchmarking data. For this role, the salary range is $105,000 - $115,000, based on the selected candidate's experience, education, and skillset.
