The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Instructional Design Intern to join our team for the spring and/or summer 2025 term. The Instructional Design Intern will support the Customer Success team with asynchronous content development and LMS administration. This intern gets to collaborate with subject matter experts in the Customer Success and Talent Development space to create engaging educational videos and online learnings that align with our brand and meet designated learning objectives, while also supporting our learners through LMS administration help.
Experience in Instructional Design concepts for adult learners with knowledge of adult learning theory is required. You will be asked to show samples of school projects to demonstrate your understanding of applying adult learning theory to instructional design as part of the interview process.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Customer Success experts to identify and solution training needs for customers
Develop and set up eLearning modules using Articulate Rise and the LMS authoring tool
Support content migration and course setup within the LMS
Assist in day-to-day LMS administration tasks
Edit videos for use in async eLearnings and microLearnings
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging online learning experiences
Help troubleshoot technical issues for LMS users
Contribute to the maintenance and organization of learning content
What You Bring
Current upperclass or graduate student majoring in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resources, I/O Psychology, or related field
Prior intern experience helpful, but not required (we’ll train you!)
Proficiency in instructional design tools such as Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Lectora
Knowledge and education in adult learning theory
Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail in layout, flow, and learner-centered experience
